LOST Auction – It’s Like You’re on the Island.
If you’re a huge fan of LOST – or even a semi-interested-but-got-confused-along-the-way fan of LOST – you can own a piece of the show forever. Literally. LOST – The Official Show Auction event, is happening this weekend at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. All those great folks who worked on LOST decided to auction off props, cars and other great things from all six seasons of the hit show, much to the delight of the public. (Beautiful Hawaiian beach not included. Boo.)
With a compilation of more than 1,000 lots up for sale (and a color catalog to look at that details every item), take your pick and get ready to bid. If you’re in the Santa Monica area, you have August 21 and 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to walk the hangar and revel in your favorite LOST items you want to covet, and then the unbelievable bidding begins at 1:00 p.m., PST. If you still really want that Dharma jumpsuit but live near the polar bears in Antarctica, no fear – you can bid online, by phone, or absentee.
Thirsty? Well, why don’t you take a swig from Hurley’s water canteen? Need a backpack? You can have Jack’s (that touched Matthew Fox’s back…sigh…). Need shelter from the rain? A piece of the airplane fuselage worked as a roof for many of the survivors, so why not for you too I say?
So if you’re lucky, you can be driving around in that Dharma van wearing a Mr. Cluck’s costume in no time (but not if I beat you to it). You’ll need this bumper sticker below if that’s the case. Good luck!
